Although my English is very bad, I will try to put here a translation of this presentation in order to it could be read by Marc.
Marc Flandre is a multifaceted Villeurbanne neighbor. He is a teacher at a primary school in that city, which is practically glued to one of the most populated capital of France: Lyon. Also he sings and plays the flute in a pop-folk music group (www.arran.fr). He is also addicted to orchids (orchidee.clic.free.fr), and even more addicted to lithops.
When I had the chance to see some of his photos on Flickr, I quickly realized that he has an excellent collection of Lithops in which there are a lot of plants with an intense color.
I mean not only the individual plants, but also to the beautiful compositions in which Marc Flandre combines a lot of lithops in a single pot. Normally located very close to each other and always taking care to maintain a consistent tone.
That has been the main feature we have tried to show in this photographic exhibition, which will include lithops very different from each other, but always with a common trait: their intense colors!
Although I liked the lithops combinations in single pots, when Marc read this text in order to give me his approval, he made me the following comment: "I have not done anything about the color combinations, I simply mixed the plants randomly".
